Today's Church service was the best! [: Wonder if Germaine went... Hmmmm...
Anyway, today's speaker was Peter Tsukahira. He spoke 'bout the Grace of God and the Laws of God. Just wanna share some of the things he touched on.
"Don't think I came to abolish the law or the Prophets; I didn't come to abolish but to fulfill. Not even the smallest letter or the least stroke of pen will be taken away from that law, it will all be brought to it's perfection. Anyone who breaks one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do the same will be called the least in the Kingdom of Heaven, but whoever practices and teaches these commands will be called great in the Kingdom of Heaven. For I say to you that unless your righteousness surpasses that of the scribes and Pharisees, you will not enter the Kingdom of Heaven." Matthew 5:17-20
So somehow we're being expected to walk in a higher righteousness than even the most religious members of our society. And when the Messiah speaks, his law is the law above laws. But you won't understand, neither will you appreciate Grace, until you know really what are the requirements of law.
"You are told "Do not commit murder" and those who commit murder will be subject to judgement. But I say to you that everyone who is angry at his brother will be guilty before the court and whoever says to his brother "You good for nothing" will be before the supreme court and whoever says "You Fool!" will be guilty enough to go to fiery hell" Matthew 5:21-22
"You have heard that you shall not commit adultery, but I say that whoever looks at a woman with lust in his heart has already committed adultery in his heart." Matthew 5:27-28
The laws of Isreal said that when you make a vow, you will keep your vow. And when you swear to tell the truth, you must tell the truth. But God says "I don't want people in my Kingdom to be swearing on stacks of Bibles. In my Kingdom, the law is that you tell the truth."
"And do not swear by your head, for you cannot make even one hair white or black. Simply let your 'Yes' be 'Yes', and your 'No, 'No' ; anything beyond this comes from the evil one." Matthew 5:36
Grace is the free gift of God's love.

Hmmm... not very satisfied with my Common Tests results, save for Geography Elect and Emaths. Only got 3As, the rest are Bs.... so far. Quite disappointed in my Chinese and Chemistry :((((( How could Novita beat me in Chinese!!!!! >:[0.5 marks seh... MUST WORK HARDER FOR END OF YEAR EXAMS!!!!!
Didn't go to school on Monday and Tuesday but decided to come to school today. What a disaster-.- Felt like some nauseating pregnant woman-.- Must endureeeeeeeeeeeee! Can't miss school anymore.
Oh well, to lighten the mood...

So after running for the bus, Bus ride, Bubble Tea, MRT ride, Terminal 1, Terminal 2, Swensens ice cream, Yong Xin getting owned by DACTYL, Burger King, meeting Firza, Yong Xin getting owned by DACTYL again, Kay Rui's bush, laughing, laughing and laughing, I finally went to meet the 2G people. Lol-.-
